When do you expect to have this feature implemented?

Hi yes I'd like to know this, I was told back in Dec 2019 that you were intending to implement this and there seems to have been silence on this issue apart from this post 4 months after that. If its not in the road map for the next 6 months don't announce it as it may as well be vapourware

Hi @Dovydas. Any update here. My Windscribe subscription is expring tomorrow and I don't want to renew as I find streaming with them to be quite slow and laggy.

We would like to know when this feature of the InvizBox2 will be implemented so we can use different VPN providers.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Could you implement an OpenVPN solution on the box that would be wonderful.

I assume due to the last firmware being a year old that there is an update coming soon, we know you have had problems and delays on the Pro2 and it can't have been easy. Hope to hear some love for the Invizibox2 soon.

When I originally purchased the invizbox 2 from you November 2019, I only did so on the understanding that you would be updating allowing to change VPN provider in the future.

Like others have recommended on the Support thread surely by now you would have provided this option? Been tied to one VPN provider no Mike’s the invoice box very limited in its use!

The list of VPN services that you are now affiliated with should as a minimum be available once a subscription has elapsed?

Please advise and update to this whether or not you are going to implement this option.

Hi, I totally agree. Please let us know if this feature is still planned. Because if not, please send the firmwares for the other VPNs so that we may use them.

Forcing a router to use only 1 VPN site will not help you sell more units since nobody is going to pay for another identical router with just some firmware changes just so they could use a different VPN.

You have the chance to become more well-known because you offer a solution that right now is hard to find, especially one that’s easy to use like that. Supporting more VPNs with the hardware and focusing on improving the software continuously will cause your sales to multiply and generate a lot of revenue. Just do some calculations, check how big the VPN market is.

    Thanks. And please!!!

The ability to switch providers is still a planned feature. Currently we do not have a timeline for when this feature will become available.

    Dear Costumer service and Developers,

I would like to tell you that I am using your router for few months now. I have Surfshark as VPN provider. I am happy with the router and I would like to give you an advice:

You should implement the feature of switching VPN provider. Will increase your sells.

You should have more VPN's providers with Open VPN and Wireguard Protocols. Both are better than others Protocols present in your Router. This will also implement your sells and make costumers happier.

I think that these two change are easier and could really make a huge difference in your business.

    Regards

    Hi Mario and Snicks,

Thank you for the feedback. I will pass your comments on to the engineering and sales team. Both of the features that you have requested, the ability to switch VPN providers and Wireguard are on our roadmap.

    Hello Dovydas,

Thanks a lot for your reply, I've really appreciate.

Do you have any ideas of the timeframe when this will be implemented?

Are we going to get a notification or should we check the settings and this website to know that these features were implemented?

    Have a nice day, regards

May we please have an update on this feature.
I am currently locked in with Windscribe and it is not serving its purpose any longer for me. I have had to change to ExpressVPN and I am now stuck with an invizbox I cannot use till you provide this long promised feature which was a key factor in my purchasing decision.

I even paid money to send back the router to Invizbox to change the VPN provider after I purchased. But they took more than a month for feedback.  Up to now I still don't know when can i get my router.  No matter how good of their product but their service is completely unacceptable.

Is there any update for when we might be able to change VPN providers on the Invizbox 2?

    Hi,

As an alternative you could provide all firmware files and let people decide which one to flash. Maybe not a trouble-free solution as a dropdown in the interface, but at least we could use our hardware again.
