You are trying to watch a streaming service over InvizBox VPN and it isn't working. Perhaps you are receiving an error code. What can I try?
Streaming Server.
Try changing to a dedicated streaming server.
In the server list, some servers will have the prefix of 'Streaming' (eg "Streaming, US" or "Streaming, Japan"). These are servers especially configured for streaming services such as Netflix. If you wish to watch US Netflix for example, you would need to select the "Streaming, US" server.
Restart the app after you have selected your VPN location.
Some streaming services take your location at the moment the app or service is launched. Changing your VPN location once the app is already running can flag that you may be using a VPN service.
Try turning off the streaming app or closing the browser you are running the service in, selecting your VPN location, then relaunching the app/relaunching your browser. If you are using a smart TV, try unplugging the TV entirely as apps are often left running in the background, then turning it back on once you have connected to your selected VPN location.
It's still not working.
Some dedicated streaming devices, like a Roku for example, are know to capture your location when they are initially being set up. This means that no matter what you try, if your location is different than the one registered during set up, it won't work.
The way to resolve this is to:
- Set your desired InvizBox VPN location.
- Reset your streaming device to factory settings (ensure you are still connected to your InvizBox VPN location during the reset).
- Your VPN location is registered as your location by your streaming device. It should now work.
