NOTE: Upgrading to the most recent firmware version will occur in two steps. An upgrade to firmware version 4.0.13 and then another upgrade to the most recent firmware version.
Step 1 - Reset InvizBox Go
If you previously attempted to upgrade, reset your InvizBox Go as described in this article using the reset button.
Step 2 - Complete the Wizard
- Connect to the InvizBox Go WiFi hotspot.
- Either complete the Wizard (till complete page) or if it fails mid-way.
- go to this page: http://inviz.box/cgi-bin/luci
- and then go without doing anything, go to this page: http://inviz.box/cgi-bin/luci/wizard/complete (which will show wizard completion and give a reboot notice)
- After the InvizBox Go reboots, reconnect to the WiFi hotspot if needed.
Step 3 - Upgrade to firmware version 4.0.13
- Go back to http://inviz.box and login (same credentials as the WiFi)
- If your Go is not connected to a WiFi hotspot, connect to a network from the "InvizBox Go - Choose Network" page. You may need to reload this page until it displays.
- Once connected, switch to Extend Mode from the "InvizBox Go - Privacy Mode" page.
- Then either wait for an hour or manually trigger an update ("Expert Mode - System - Update Log" click on "Perform update"). This update will take a couple of minutes.
- To see the update banner, you need to navigate to a new page in the Administration Interface. Once you the see the banner, make sure you Go is powered from USB and then click on "Upgrade".
- The upgrade takes about 5 mins and you need to wait until the InvizBox Go's WiFi LED is a steady red.
- You will then need to reset your InvizBox Go to get the factory settings back reset your InvizBox Go as described in this article using the reset button.
Step 4 - Upgrade to the latest firmware
- Reconnect to your InvizBox Go if needed.
- Go back to http://inviz.box and login (same credentials as the WiFi).
- If your Go is not connected to a WiFi hotspot, connect to a network from the "InvizBox Go - Choose Network" page. You may need to reload this page until it displays.
- Once connected, switch to Extend Mode from the "InvizBox Go - Privacy Mode" page.
- Then either wait for an hour or manually trigger an update ("Expert Mode - System - Update Log" click on "Perform update"). This update will take a couple of minutes.

Step 5 - Complete the Onboarding on the latest firmware
- Your InvizBox Go is now running the latest firmware, you can connect to its WiFi hotspot and go through the Onboarding at http://inviz.box
