- Moved to the LEDE stable branch 17.01 (including a linux kernel upgrade to 4.4.59)

- Fixed some issues around scanning not finding as many networks as expected
- Opened up the captive portal mode to allow for traffic on any port for any server (support for non-standard portals)
- Fixed the use of http://inviz.box in tor mode
- Cleaned up the firewall and additional iptables rules
- with the kernel upgrade, fixed an issue where the filesystem could become read-only on sudden powercuts
- Added information to status page (current version vs factory reset version) as well as a link to the support page
- Updated timeouts in OpenVPN client to reconnect faster when recovering connectivity
- Updated the update URLs in order not to clash with firmware version 1.x updates which are not compatible (due to first two entries in this changelog list)
Upgrade Instructions:
As this is a full firmware release, there are two ways to upgrade to this firmware:
1 - Simple way
If you are running any 1.x version, your InvizBox Go will download this new firmware and show you an upgrade banner in the UI which you can click to upgrade. To do so:
- Start your InvizBox Go
- Make sure it is connected to a network (green in VPN/Tor modes, orange in Extender mode)
- Wait for an hour (to be sure that the update process has run)
- Plug your InvizBox Go to a power source (to prevent a reboot mid upgrade)
- Connect to your administration UI (http://inviz.box or http://10.153.146.1 as usual)
- Click on the button in the upgrade banner
- Wait until the InvizBox Go WiFi hotspot comes back after the reboot (a couple of minutes for the reboot to kick in + a couple of minutes for the first boot as the filesystem needs to be cleaned up)
2 - Manual way (more technical)
As for any other update, you can also take the manual way (if you're not very technical or a it unsure, stick to the simple way above)
- Download the file linked below
- Follow these instructions carefully
